Good news for VESC Indonesia. On the 7th of October 2022 the college Institut Teknologi PLN and VESC held their memorandum of understanding (MoU) signing ceremony, officially commencing their cooperation.

Freddy Siahaan, Director of VESC Indonesia, was present to sign in Person alongside IT PLN dignitaries such as Prof. Iwa Garniwa M.K. (Rector of IT PLN), Dr. Ali Herman Ibrahim (senior Advisor to Indonesian Electricity Society) and Dr. Zainal Arifin (Executive Vice-President of Engineering and Technology PLN).

This partnership enables the knowledge transfer of practical superconducting technologies that will lead to research and practical competence development in Indonesia and help Indonesia to reach their ambitious targets in the satisfaction of a raising sustainable electricity demand.

Therefore Dr. Wolfgang Reiser, will hold multiple online lectures for students in Indonesia, focusing on the engineering aspects of superconductors.
